NEW ASSISTANT COACHES NAMED FOR 2014 SEASON

The Titans are very pleased to announce the addition of Steve Hibbard and William Wong as new assistant coaches to our team. Steve brings a wealth of varied and high level coaching experience. Most recently, Steve has been responsible for coaching the AAA Midget spring hockey program here in Calgary. We look forward to introducing Steve at the initial meeting on September 5, 2014.   William (Willy) Wong has coached in the Girls Hockey Calgary program for many years and brings a wealth of experience with him.  He will be primarily involved in working with the goaltenders.  We are also pleased to welcome back Head Coach, Don Wilson and Assistant Coach Kevin Kropf.

NEW MANAGEMENT

The Titans are very pleased to announce that Bob and Susan Thodas have agreed to assume most of the managerial roles for the team. Craig Sparrow will remain as President & Director of hockey operations. Exciting News for 2014 season – WINSPORT is the new venue for home games and practices

The Titans are very pleased to announce that we have managed to secure in one venue, all of our practices and home games for the upcoming 2014/15 season. All of our home games and practices will be held at one of the WINSPORT arenas () located in Canada Olympic Park and at much better times than was previously available to our team. The practice and home game schedule will be posted to the team website on the AJFHL website in the very near future. WINSPORT is the facility that the women’s and men’s national teams and the Calgary Extreme practice and play in. It is a new and multi-functional facility that will greatly increase the profile of our team and the league and has available to our players many other practice amenities and facilities including dry land training which will be discussed at our initial team meeting on September 5.
